Capri - Brake Booster (3) & Fuel

Just following up on my brake booster replacement.
I noticed yesterday that the brake lights/back lights were on as soon as I turned on the ignition. Having a quick look around, I soon realised that something may have happened to the brake light switch linked to the brake pedal which I had off when replacing the booster.
A torch under the parcel tray revealed that the switch is touching the pedal, thereby keeping the lights on. It also was a little stuck so a spray of the magic WD40 soon made it a lot better.I need to adjust the placement of the switch (adjusting nuts on both sides) so that the lights only activate when the pedal is pushed in.

The fuel heading relates to my other white Capri.
For weeks the car has not been running properly & despite totally cleaning the carbie, minor adjustments to the timing and re-setting the tappets, it was still not performing as it should.
It was quite low on fuel so I just made it to the garage & refuelled with Shell V-Power. Driving home, I noticed that it was running a little better & not missing as much. So, I kept driving. Progressively, it ran a lot better & after four circuits around the neighbourhood, the car is running as it should. I have had similar problems before so I need to drive the car more often & buy some fuel conditioner to remove any moisture/condensation in the tank.
