Capri - Ipswich Motorsport Museum
Our club's first outing for the year was to the Ipswich Motorsport Museum. Ipswich is about 40 mins west of Brisbane with the museum being situated in the Mall in the City Square. The museum has changed its venue slightly since it opened mainly due to the requirements of the Council. It is not a huge museum and the exhibits focus on motor sport but it is well worth a visit. The operator and his assistants are very helpful in giving the history to all the exhibits. There are lots of historical pictures, papers & magazines that support the cars & bikes.
